Philanthropy

Speech and Hearing

Delta Zeta's Philanthropy benefits the speech and hearing impaired. Nationally, we support the Painted Turtle Camp, the Starkey Hearing Foundation, and Gallaudet University in Washington, DC, which was founded in 1864 for the deaf and hard of hearing.  We also support The House Ear Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing hearing science through research and education to improve quality of life.

Locally, the Pi Epsilon Chapter supports the Meyer Center in Greenville, South Carolina.  The Meyer Center was founded in 1954 to provide education and therapy services to children and young adults with disabilities.

"The Painted Turtle is an innovative camp and family care center for children with life-threatening illnesses."
